On August 2, 2023, a mega solar power plant infomation session was held at Pacific Energy Wakayama Solar Power Plant for teachers belonging to the local Kamitonda Town Education Research Association in Wakayama Prefecture.
At the session, we explained not only the mechanism of solar power generation, but also how the power plant can coexist with the local community and how to protect the environment by managing the plant without using herbicides.
At the end of the session, the teachers took a look at the solar panels from the observatory installed in the power plant, and seemed to have a deep interest and significance in solar power generation.
Pacifico Energy will continue such opportunities with the aim of becoming a community-based power plant.
