Hiroki Matsuo, Representative of Pacifico Energy, made a donation through the Japanese Red Cross Society to support relief efforts following the earthquake that struck eastern Taiwan in April 2024.
On Tuesday, February 20, 2026, the “Conferment Ceremony for the Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon and the Health, Labour and Welfare Minister’s Letter of Appreciation” was held at the headquarters of the Japanese Red Cross Society in Minato-ku, Tokyo. This ceremony recognizes individuals and corporations that have made significant financial contributions to Red Cross activities. In recognition of this donation, Mr. Matsuo was formally presented with the Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon (and Certificate) along with a Letter of Appreciation from the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare.
The earthquake in eastern Taiwan caused the loss of many precious lives and resulted in extensive damage. Recovery and reconstruction efforts are still ongoing in the affected areas. We sincerely hope that this contribution will assist in the reconstruction of the lives of those affected by the disaster.
