On December 7, 2023, students from Ageo Higashi Junior High School in Saitama Prefecture visited Pacific Energy’s headquarters as part of their SDGs study.
We held a class on solar power generation, explaining how mega solar power plants are built, how electricity produced by solar power reaches homes, and the nature conservation efforts at our solar power plants. The students asked several questions, such as “How much electricity does Pacific Energy supply?” They seemed to be interested in solar power generation and renewable energy.
We are happy to provide an opportunity for young people, who will be responsible for the next generation, to learn about renewable energy.
