Pacifico Energy Contributed to a Tree-Planting Project conducted by the Hyogo Environmental Advancement Association through donations

PACIFICO ENERGY has contributed to a tree-planting project conducted by the Hyogo Prefectural Center for Climate Change Action (Hyogo Environmental Advancement Association) through donations to Hyogo Prefecture’s Hyogo Green Energy Blue Carbon Fund.

On June 22, 2022, accompanied by Hyogo Prefectural Environmental Department officials, we visited the Yumesakinomori Park (2160-2, Yumesakichotera, Himeji City) and Hyogo Prefectural Kuniminomori Park (374, Kamihichi, Yamazaki Town, Shiso City) to inspect the afforested areas and confirm numerous tree planted. According to the Hyogo Prefectural Environment Department, 20-30 maple trees were planted in Yumesakinomori Park, and 182 cherry, maple, and other foliage trees were planted at Kuniminomori Park at the top of the hiking trail for general visitors.

PACIFICO ENERGY has developed, constructed, managed, and operated four solar power plants on former golf course sites in the prefecture so far. In addition to securing remaining forests and adjustment ponds in accordance with forest land development permits, we are actively engaged in nature conservation activities, such as operating without the use of herbicides, in consideration of biodiversity.

We will continue to devote ourselves to the promotion of safe and clean energy and the operation of nature-friendly power plants in order to prevent global warming.
